Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Area Sales Representative to join our Plant and Tool division. Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for maximising Plant & Tool hire revenue opportunities from existing major account customers and winning new business.

About the Role
  • Deliver sales presentations to senior management level customers to promote our product offering.
  • Attend depot/customer trade days to engage with key stakeholders and promote our services.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience working in an area sales role within the construction/hire industry, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and generating revenue growth.

Responsibilities
  • Maximise Plant & Tool hire revenue opportunities from existing customers.
  • Win new business by delivering sales presentations and attending trade days.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the GAP Group network to ensure proactive promotion of hire opportunities.
Requirements
  • Exceptional communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • An effective negotiator and problem solver with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficient in MS Office packages including Excel and Word, and CRM systems.
  • Driving Licence (Essential).
