Job Title: AV Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking an experienced AV Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at PayPoint plc. As an AV Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the stability and improvement of our PayPoint IT Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational support of the Infrastructure, carrying out 2nd and 3rd line analysis of incidents and problems.
  • Resolution, Root Cause Analysis, Impact Analysis and Escalation, should be carried out in a timely manner with detailed documentation in the ticketing platform.
  • Assist with Projects and Infrastructure Delivery.
  • Ensure consistency and quality of the service so that all support tickets are progressed in line with operational service levels.
  • Update documentation, policies and procedures as well as ensuring that they are followed.
Requirements:
  • Windows Server OS's (Ideally from 2016 to 2022).
  • Full Windows Stack including DHCP, DNS, AD.
  • Linux (Ideally Ubuntu, RedHat and Rocky).
  • Microsoft Exchange 2013/2016.
  • Microsoft Office 365.
  • Microsoft Azure Stack from Compute, Networking, to Azure Active Directory.
  • Microsoft SQL.
  • Understanding of security in relation to network, server, applications, data and databases.
  • Proficient in PowerShell Scripting, Bash Scripting or Python.
  • Windows Storage Spaces and Storage Spaces Direct.
