About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at PayPoint plc. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in driving stability and improvements to our PayPoint IT Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure automation of tasks is at the forefront of speed to deployment of new project work or existing improvements to the infrastructure.
  • Manage incidents through to resolution, demonstrating a proven track record in the installation, support and maintenance of advanced Windows and Linux Technologies.
  • Ensure Infrastructure Services meet all regulatory requirements, namely PCI DSS, ISO27001, and Cyber Security Essentials.
  • Deliver operational support of the Infrastructure, engaging with relevant 3rd party support to assist with incident resolution.
  • Proactively drive automation of infrastructure tasks to guarantee the outcome of repeatable tasks.
  • Identify improvements to existing process, ensuring that with agreement, these improvements are implemented in line with PayPoint standards.
Requirements
  • Proven Production Support or Project Delivery experience.
  • Proven ability to document and explain designs.
  • Detail orientated with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Expert Knowledge in the following - Windows Server OS's, Full Windows Stack, Linux, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Azure Stack, Hyper-V.
  • Proven support experience in the following - VMWare, NetApp, System Center, Cisco, Routers and Switches, Microsoft SQL, IaC Technologies.
