Job Title: AV Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking an experienced AV Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at PayPoint plc. As an AV Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the stability and improvement of our IT infrastructure, driving innovation and automation in our next-gen cloud technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational support of the infrastructure, including 2nd and 3rd line analysis of incidents and problems.
  • Resolution, root cause analysis, impact analysis, and escalation of incidents in a timely manner with detailed documentation in the ticketing platform.
  • Assist with projects and infrastructure delivery, ensuring consistency and quality of the service.
  • Update documentation, policies, and procedures, and ensure they are followed.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record in the installation, support, and maintenance of advanced Windows and Linux technologies.
  • Experience in managing incidents through to resolution, with a focus on automation and speed to deployment.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server OS's (2016 to 2022), full Windows Stack, Linux (Ubuntu, RedHat, Rocky), Microsoft Exchange 2013/2016, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Azure Stack, and Microsoft SQL.
  • Understanding of security in relation to network, server, applications, data, and databases.
  • Proficient in PowerShell Scripting, Bash Scripting, or Python.
  • Experience in delivering projects and solutions from inception to completion.
