Financial Planning Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Paraplanner to join our team in Ascot. As a Paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Financial Planning practice by providing exceptional support to our Advisers.
Responsibilities:- Collate client information, including soft and hard facts, to inform recommendations.
- Review client information with Advisers to formulate tailored solutions.
- Prepare client reports for approval by Advisers, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Conduct thorough research on products, providers, and funds to inform recommendations.
- Oversee the Model Portfolio Programme, ensuring seamless execution.
- Supervise Administrators to prepare and submit application forms, maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
- Prepare Suitability Reports, Pension Analysis Reports, and discussion reports for review with Advisers.
- Develop and implement procedures and report templates to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure Advisers are well-prepared for meetings, organizing the team to meet deadlines and generate reports.
- Strong product knowledge, including pensions, investments, and ISA's.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Proficiency in MS Office and internet, with experience of Intelliflo/Intelligent Office and FE Analytics desirable.
- Fully qualified or working towards CII Diploma in Financial Planning, with a CII Paraplanning qualification desirable.
- Proven experience in a Paraplanner role, ideally within an IFA practice, with a strong track record of developing team and client relationships.
- Commercial awareness, with the ability to think strategically.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Motivated and able to work independently, with a strong attention to quality and accuracy.
