Accounts Payable Assistant Role

Cantello Tayler Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining the purchase ledger and ensuring accurate financial records.
  • Raising vendor purchase orders and processing supplier payments.
  • Assisting with the preparation of mid-month and month-end supplier payment runs for authorization.
  • Accurately posting bank transactions and maintaining the Fixed Assets Register.
  • Providing support with month-end and year-end accounting requirements.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A good basic understanding of financial principles and experience working in a finance department or studying towards a finance qualification.
  • Proactive, analytical, and excellent organizational and time management skills.
