Paraplanner Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Paraplanner to join our team in Ascot. As a Paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Financial Advisers in providing exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collate client information, including soft and hard facts, to inform recommendations.
  • Review client information with Advisers to formulate tailored solutions.
  • Prepare client reports for approval by Advisers, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Conduct thorough research on products, providers, and funds to inform recommendations.
  • Supervise Administrators to ensure timely submission of application forms.
  • Prepare Suitability Reports, Pension Analysis Reports, and discussion reports for review with Advisers.
  • Develop and maintain procedures and report templates to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Ensure Advisers are prepared for meetings, organizing the team to meet deadlines and generate reports.
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Product knowledge, including pensions, investments, and ISA's.
  • Experience working in a Paraplanner role within an IFA practice, ideally with 3+ years' experience in a financial services support/advice role.
  • CII Diploma in Financial Planning or working towards it.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to develop team and client relationships.
