Paraplanner Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Paraplanner to join our team in Ascot. As a Paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Financial Advisers in providing exceptional client service.

Responsibilities:
  • Collate client information, including soft and hard facts, to inform recommendations.
  • Review client information with Advisers to formulate tailored solutions.
  • Prepare client reports for approval by Advisers, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Conduct thorough research on products, providers, and funds to inform recommendations.
  • Oversee the Model Portfolio Programme, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Supervise Administrators to prepare and submit application forms, ensuring timely completion.
  • Prepare Suitability Reports, Pension Analysis Reports, and discussion reports for review with Advisers.
  • Develop and implement procedures and report templates to enhance efficiency.
  • Ensure Advisers are well-prepared for meetings, organizing team efforts to meet deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Strong product knowledge, including pensions, investments, and ISA's.
  • Excellent analytical and research skills.
  • Proven ability to write clear, concise reports.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • CII Diploma in Financial Planning.
  • CII Paraplanning qualification.
  • Experience working in a Paraplanner role within an IFA practice.
