Job Summary

We're seeking a People Business Partner to join our People Performance team. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with Regional/Area Managers to support the delivery of our people plans. Your responsibilities will include building trusted relationships, holding regular reviews, and working with other teams to drive talent development and succession planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders
  • Hold regular reviews with stakeholders to review their people and colleague experience
  • Work with other teams within the People function, including Recruitment and Learning & Development
  • Complete talent reviews with stakeholders, agreeing actions and monitoring progress
  • Support succession planning for key roles
  • Upskill managers and maintain a focus on colleague engagement
  • Support new store openings and closure processes
  • Manage employee relations cases

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar generalist HR/People role
  • Proven experience of managing employee relations cases, including complex cases
  • Experience of working within a highly customer-centric or retail environment
  • Confidence working with data
  • Natural curiosity and ability to solve problems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to make impact and build effective relationships
  • Ability to collaborate, persuade, and influence
  • Assertive, resilient, and tenacious with ability to work well under pressure
