About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People Business Partner to join our team at Frasers Group. As a key member of our People Performance team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of our people plans and partnering with our Retail teams to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders across the business, including Regional/Area Managers and other key teams.
  • Hold regular reviews with stakeholders to review their people, covering all elements of the colleague experience and providing actionable insights to drive improvement.
  • Work closely with other teams within the People function, including Recruitment and Learning & Development, to ensure seamless delivery of our people plans.
  • Complete talent reviews with stakeholders, agreeing actions and proactively monitoring progress to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Develop and implement succession plans for key roles, ensuring the right talent is in place to drive business success.
  • Support the upskilling of managers through training and development programs, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Maintain a focus on colleague engagement, working to create a positive and inclusive work environment that drives business success.
  • Support with new store openings and closure processes, ensuring a smooth transition for colleagues and the business.
  • Manage employee relations cases, providing expert guidance and support to resolve issues and maintain a positive work environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar generalist HR/People role, with a proven track record of delivering results and driving business success.
  • Proven experience of managing employee relations cases, including complex cases, and providing expert guidance and support to resolve issues.
  • Experience of working within a highly customer-centric or retail environment, with a deep understanding of the business and its operations.
  • Confidence working with data, with the ability to analyze and interpret data to inform business decisions.
  • Natural curiosity and ability to solve problems, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and communicate complex information to stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate, persuade, and influence, with a strong track record of building and maintaining relationships across the business.
  • Assertive, resilient, and tenacious, with the ability to work well under pressure and overcome setbacks and changing priorities.
