About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People Business Partner to join our team at Frasers Group. As a key member of our People Performance team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of our people plans and partnering with our Retail teams to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and Maintain Trusted Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, including Regional/Area Managers and other key teams.
  • Hold Regular Reviews: Conduct regular reviews with stakeholders to review their people, covering all elements of the colleague experience.
  • Collaborate with Other Teams: Work closely with other teams within the People function, including Recruitment and Learning & Development, to drive business success.
  • Complete Talent Reviews: Conduct talent reviews with stakeholders, agreeing actions and proactively monitoring progress.
  • Succession Planning: Develop and implement succession plans for key roles.
  • Upskilling of Managers: Support the upskilling of managers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to drive business success.
  • Colleague Engagement: Maintain a focus on colleague engagement and develop initiatives to improve engagement and retention.
  • Employee Relations Cases: Manage employee relations cases, including complex cases, to ensure a fair and consistent approach.
Qualifications
  • Previous Experience: Ideally, previous experience in a similar generalist HR/People role.
  • Employee Relations Experience: Proven experience of managing employee relations cases, including complex cases.
  • Retail Experience: Experience of working within a highly customer-centric or retail environment.
  • Data Confidence: To be confident working with data and able to analyze and interpret data to inform business decisions.
  • Problem-Solving: Natural curiosity and ability to solve problems and think critically.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to make an impact and build effective relationships.
  • Collaboration: Ability to collaborate, persuade, and influence others to achieve business objectives.
  • Resilience: To be assertive, resilient, and tenacious with the ability to work well under pressure and overcome setbacks and changing priorities.
