Workforce Development and Strategy Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a Workforce Business Partner to join our team at Swansea Bay University Health Board. As a key member of our Workforce & Organisational Development Team, you will work strategically with our Corporate divisions to understand their service strategies and business objectives.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for developing and supporting the delivery of workforce and organisational development strategies. This will include:
- Developing and implementing workforce planning strategies to meet the needs of our organisation
- Providing regular reports, analysis and recommendations for action against key performance indicators and transformational change objectives
- Leading on the identification of workforce related cost efficiency schemes and supporting their delivery
- Supporting hearings, appeal panels, complex investigations as needed and undertaking policy development
- Interpreting employment legislation and case law, providing authoritative advice on complex and specialist Workforce and OD issues
The ideal candidate will have:
- CIPD Qualified – MCIPD, Masters level or equivalent demonstrable experience
- Expert knowledge of HR best practice and employment law
- Knowledge of workforce planning within a complex work environment, including long-term planning and strategy development processes
The following qualifications and experience would be highly desirable:
- Formal Employment Law qualification
- Coaching Certificate
- Experience of working across a range of organisations to achieve significant change
- Experience of strategic and planning development
