About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BMS Project Engineer to join our team at Schneider Electric. As a BMS Project Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering multiple projects, ensuring financial understanding of the projects, and collaborating with the Project Manager Team, Operations Manager, and Commercial team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Design and Delivery: Design and deliver multiple projects, ensuring financial understanding of the projects, including procurement, invoice approval, and variation handling.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Close liaison with the Project Manager Team, Operations Manager, and Commercial team to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Project Goals and Objectives: Help define and understand project goals, objectives, and performance measures to ensure they are met or exceeded.
  • Engineering Design: Carry out or be responsible for engineering design of BMS and integrated projects, including I/O schedules, description of operation, control panel design approval, plant schematics, H & S documentation, and O & M documentation.
  • Team Support and Development: Help support, coach, and mentor projects team through the successful delivery of projects, identifying specific project issues and producing proactive plans to resolve knowledge or skill gaps.
  • Proactive Approach: Take a proactive approach to gaining all information required to progress our works, attending site meetings with the customer, contractor, subcontractor, and consultant as appropriate.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experience in BMS projects or equivalent industry.
  • Data Centre Background: A data centre background would be beneficial.
  • SE Products Knowledge: Knowledge and experience of SE products preferred but not essential.
  • PLC Knowledge: PLC knowledge would be advantageous but not essential.
Education
  • Qualifications: HND/HNC, degree in engineering discipline or equivalent professional experience.
