Job Description

Job Title: Project Management Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Management Engineer to join our team at Schneider Electric Norge AS. As a Project Management Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and delivering multiple design projects within the End User Projects Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management: Manage and deliver multiple design projects within the End User Projects Team, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  2. Engineering Design: Carry out or be responsible for engineering design of BMS and integrated projects, including I/O schedules, description of operation, control panel design approval, plant schematics, H & S documentation, O & M documentation.
  3. Project Planning: Help to define and understand project goals, objectives, and performance measures to ensure they are met or exceeded to provide the highest level of service.
  4. Team Support: Help to support, coach, and mentor projects team through the successful delivery of projects, identifying specific project issues and producing proactive plans to resolve any knowledge or skill gaps effectively and in a timely manner.
  5. Customer Liaison: Attend site meetings with customers, contractors, subcontractors, and consultants as required.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: Experience in BMS projects or equivalent industry.
  2. Data Centre Background: A data centre background would be beneficial.
  3. PLC Knowledge: PLC knowledge would be advantageous but not essential.

Education:

  1. Qualifications: HND/HNC, degree in engineering discipline or equivalent professional experience.
