We are currently seeking a Community Development Coordinator to join our team at Axis Family Resources Ltd. As a Community Development Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities to achieve their goals and improve their overall quality of life.
The successful candidate will have experience in social services, preferably working with vulnerable populations or behavioral challenges, and hold a certificate or diploma in Community Services, Health Care Aid, Human Services, or other related disciplines. You will be responsible for providing direct support to individuals, promoting their independence and quality of life, and addressing behavioral issues using a trauma-informed lens.
You will also provide education and support to families and caregivers, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to the development and implementation of programs and services. Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
