Job Title: Social Worker

Job Summary:
Interior Health Authority is seeking a skilled Social Worker to provide comprehensive assessment, care planning, and treatment coordination for patients and their families in an acute care setting at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, B.C. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct psychosocial care, counseling, system navigation, and advocacy for patients and their families.
• Develop and implement social work services to maintain or improve the health and social well-being of patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
