PMLD Support Assistant

We are seeking an experienced PMLD Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team in Stevenage.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide tailored one-on-one and small group support for students with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD).
- Work closely with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that meet each student's unique needs.
- Collaborate with the SEN (Special Educational Needs) team to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Partner with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure comprehensive support for each student's development.
- Previous experience working with children or young people with PMLD in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of the SEN Code of Practice and safeguarding policies.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for building a career as a PMLD Teaching Assistant in the education and training sector.
