About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and inspiring educational leader to fill the position of Assistant Head / Deputy Head of SEN School. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for supporting the development of our school's values and strategic objectives while maintaining the quality of our education programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Support the development of the school's values and strategic objectives.">
  • Maintain the quality of our education programs.">
  • Lead on school examinations and take responsibility during the Head's absence.">
  • Ongoing monitoring of the quality improvement plans.">
  • Leading the staff team and monitoring their progress.">
  • Contributing to ongoing training and professional development of the team.">
  • Improve pupil achievement collaboratively.">
  • Leading and evaluating the effectiveness of the school curriculum.">

Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced educational leader who possesses:

  • A recognised teacher training qualification (Cert Ed/PGCE/QTS or QTS/Teaching Diploma).">
  • Accredited training in special education eg PMLD/SLD/ASD needs.">
  • A proven track record of leadership and management in education.">

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including Teachers Pension, Life Assurance, Health Cash Back Plan, and High Street Discounts.
