Academics Ltd is seeking an experienced PMLD Teaching Assistant to join our team in Stevenage.
This role involves working with students who have profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) and developing individualized education plans to support their needs.
Responsibilities:- Support students with PMLD in one-on-one and small group settings
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop IEPs
- Work with the SEN team to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies
- Communicate with parents and carers to ensure comprehensive support for students
- Experience working with children or young people with PMLD in an educational setting
- Knowledge of the SEN Code of Practice and safeguarding policies
This role offers a salary of £23,000 - £25,000 per year (£460-£500 per week), benefits including ongoing professional development, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children with PMLD.
