Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Chalkhill, a specialist adolescent inpatient service providing care for young people aged 13 to 18 years old. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating psychological interventions delivered in the service as part of the psychological therapies team.
Main Responsibilities
As a Clinical Psychologist, you will work closely with the multidisciplinary team, including Occupational Therapy, Family Therapy, Social Worker, Psychiatry, and Nursing team, to deliver a high-quality safe and effective service. You will contribute to admission and discharge processes, assess risk, and develop risk formulation and management plans. You will also utilize and promote the use of outcome measures and feedback tools within the service and support quality improvement projects.
Requirements
We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist with a doctoral level training in applied psychology, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, two or more distinct psychological therapies, and lifespan developmental psychology. You must be professionally registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health Professions Council (HPC). You should have experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of clients across the full range of care settings, including outpatient, community, primary care, and inpatient settings. You should also have experience of working with a wide variety of client groups, across the whole life course, presenting problems that reflect the full range of clinical severity.
