We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Psychologist to join our dynamic and enthusiastic psychological therapies team at Chalkhill, part of Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a key role in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating psychological interventions delivered in the service. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team, including Occupational Therapy, Family Therapy, Social Worker, Psychiatry, and Nursing, to provide evidence-based individual and group interventions to young people and their families.
You will have the opportunity to develop your supervision and leadership skills, contribute to admission and discharge processes, and utilize and promote the use of outcome measures and feedback tools within the service.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate psychological interventions delivered in the service
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based individual and group interventions
- Develop and expand upon clinical and professional skills through regular clinical supervision and ongoing professional development
- Contribute to admission and discharge processes and utilize and promote the use of outcome measures and feedback tools within the service
We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist with:
- Doctoral level training in applied psychology, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and lifespan developmental psychology
- Professionally registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health Professions Council (HPC)
- Experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of clients across the full range of care settings
- Doctoral level knowledge of research methodology, research design, and complex, multivariate data analysis
- Experience of working with a wide variety of client groups, across the whole life course, presenting problems that reflect the full range of clinical severity
