About the Role

Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our Adult Liaison Psychiatry Team. As a Clinical Lead, you will play a key role in shaping the development and future direction of the team, working closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality care to patients.

Main Responsibilities

As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert clinical support and advice to team members
  • Leading and presenting complex clinical and professional communication processes
  • Chairs/facilitates complex case reviews/best interest meetings/MDTs
  • Supervising clinicians in the team, overseeing caseload management, ensuring quality of interventions, timely responses, and regular communication with the MDT to assist case formulation

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse
  • Demonstrable experience and clinical expertise in managing individuals who are acutely unwell
  • Clinical supervisory experience and willingness to provide clinical supervision

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for candidates with experience of working in liaison psychiatry, working across organisational boundaries, and developing and maintaining multi-professional/agency partnerships. Experience of working in community mental health and evidence of strengths-based working would be an advantage.
