Job Summary

This full-time opportunity involves providing comprehensive secretarial support to our Family Law department, facilitating the coordination of activities and objectives. A background in law is not essential; however, a positive attitude, effective communication skills, and a willingness to contribute to the team's success are highly valued.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and Send Reports: Utilize Bighand for audio typing to produce high-quality reports.
  • Maintain Filing Systems: Organise and maintain filing systems, including scanning and implementing paperless solutions.
  • Liaise with Fee Earners: Coordinate administration tasks, prioritising and managing deadlines effectively.
  • Record Phone Calls and Inquiries: Handle phone calls, inquiries, and requests efficiently.
  • Operate Equipment and Systems: Utilise photocopiers, binders, and other equipment proficiently.
  • Provide Technical Assistance: Offer support to partners, practice managers, and colleagues as needed.

  • Exceptional Administration Skills: Proven ability to manage complex tasks and deadlines.
  • Proactive Time Management: Effective prioritisation and time management skills.
  • Friendly Communication: Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills.
  • Previous Audio Typing Experience: Beneficial but not essential, as training will be provided.
