About the Job:

This is a unique opportunity to work with a well-funded, Oxford-based biotech that is leveraging innovative approaches to target previously untapped areas of cancer biology. As a Cancer Immunology Expert, you will have the chance to contribute to the development of transformative treatments for patients.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop Technology Platforms: Contribute to the development of novel technology platforms and therapies targeting cancers with significant unmet medical needs.
  • Engineer TCR-Directed Molecules: Design and engineer TCR-directed, bispecific molecules using yeast TCR display libraries.
  • Provide Scientific Guidance: Offer scientific expertise on TCR engineering projects to develop affinity-optimized TCRs.
  • Ensure High-Quality Standards: Maintain high-quality standards within the team by ensuring high-quality experimental design and execution.
  • Present Data: Present experimental data at internal meetings and participate in discussions.
  • Foster Collaboration: Encourage a collaborative environment by sharing ideas and improvements across teams.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, project leaders, and process leaders to advance the platform and pipeline.
Requirements:
  • A PhD or equivalent scientific experience in a relevant field.
  • Hands-on experience and technical knowledge of in-vitro display and panning platforms (preferably including yeast and mammalian display).
  • Proficiency in molecular biology techniques such as PCR, cloning, site-directed mutagenesis, Sanger sequencing, and NGS sequencing.
  • Demonstrated success in executing scientific projects, with evidence of innovative thinking and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
Salary and Benefits:

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits and a competitive salary package.
