Job Description
The Clinical Psychologist will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver psychological services to children and families. The successful candidate will have experience in delivering evidence-based interventions, including cognitive-behavioural therapy and family therapy. They will also contribute to the development of new services and programs, ensuring that they are responsive to the changing needs of our patients and families.

Responsibilities
The postholder will be responsible for assessing children and families, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions. They will also contribute to research and innovation, advancing the field of paediatric psychology. In addition, the successful candidate will have opportunities to engage in teaching and training, mentoring junior staff members and contributing to the development of educational programs.

Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, applicants must have a good honours degree in Psychology and post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology. Registration with the Health and Care Professionals Council as a Practitioner Psychologist is also essential. Experience of working with children and families in a medical setting, as well as knowledge of legislation related to child protection, is highly desirable.

Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust offers a competitive salary of approximately £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
