Our trust is seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team of dedicated professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in paediatric psychology, with expertise in assessing and treating children and young people experiencing physical health conditions.

About the Role
  • This is a fixed-term full-time position, with a split workload between Evelina London Children's Hospital and the NHS Children and Young People's Gender Service-Southern Hub, London.
  • The successful applicant will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, providing clinical leadership, supervision, and support to junior staff.

We offer a competitive salary of £52,253 - £86,688 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing psychological assessments, interventions, and follow-up care to children and young people with complex needs.
  • Liaising with healthcare professionals and other statutory services to develop bespoke care plans.
  • Supervising pre-qualified psychologists and junior staff to ensure high-quality care.
  • Designing, conducting, and leading research activities to improve service outcomes.
Requirements
  • Honorary Charter Certified (HCPC) registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
  • A doctorate-level qualification in Clinical Psychology or Counselling Psychology.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including those with physical health conditions and mental health difficulties.
