Job Title: Lead Clinical Psychologist

Estimated Salary: £74,290 - £85,601 per annum, pro rata

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to lead clinical efforts for Psychological Professions staff within Acute Adult Inpatients services in Northamptonshire.

The role will oversee governance and delivery of psychological assessments, interventions, and trauma-informed care across in-patient services.

Main Duties
  1. Provide specialist psychological assessments, formulations, and related interventions to support individuals experiencing in-patient admission.
  2. Support multi-disciplinary teams to ensure goal-focused admissions, engaging families, and networking individuals into community resources.
  3. Provide supervision to other clinical staff as required.
  4. Work with senior leadership teams to develop co-production and related service developments.
  5. Collaborate with Consultant grade Psychologists and other senior staff to integrate and coordinate care for patient recovery.
  6. Maintain presence at multi-agency meetings to support in-patients with complex needs.
  7. Work with senior leadership teams to improve patient pathways for established community programs.
