Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to provide specialist clinical psychology services to children and families under the care of the Ophthalmology team, working closely with paediatric consultants and allied health professionals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical psychology services, including psychological assessment, formulation, and evidence-based interventions on a predominantly outpatient basis. The role also involves contribution to complex multidisciplinary decision-making and treatment planning.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide a specialist systematic and autonomous clinical psychology service within the specialist clinical area, in accordance with objectives agreed with clinical and professional managers.
  • Manage a caseload independently and provide appropriate supervision and professional management, as per BPS and HCPC guidelines.
  • Contribute to the development of new or revised policies that improve the quality of the service by participating regularly on working parties and committees.
About the Role

This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary of £85,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer excellent benefits, including a generous pension scheme, flexible working arrangements, and opportunities for professional development.
