Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Software Application Enablement Specialist to join our team at Howden. In this role, you will play a key part in enhancing the skills of our staff and ensuring they can work efficiently with the systems we rely on.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training Delivery
    • Plan, create, and deliver training on IT systems and software applications, with a strong focus on Acturis, via classroom sessions and virtual platforms.
  • System Support
    • Provide first-line support for system users and handle basic troubleshooting.
  • Collaboration and Assessment
    • Collaborate with internal team members and departments to identify and address business training needs.
    • Assess the training needs of individuals and groups, ensuring a personalized approach.
  • Training Materials and Development
    • Stay ahead of the curve by researching, preparing, and updating training materials.
    • Leverage new technologies, including Digital Adoption Solutions (DAS) and Microsoft Teams, to improve the delivery and accessibility of training.
  • Post-Training Evaluation
    • Conduct post-training assessments to evaluate knowledge transfer and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Teams/O365), with the ability to deliver training on these tools.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects at once.

Salary and Location

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. We are open to discussing the details of compensation and benefits with the right candidate. Our location is flexible, but we would expect regular collaboration with teams based in the UK. This job posting includes an estimated salary range calculated based on industry standards and assuming 5 years of experience.
