Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our innovative and dedicated team as a District Nurse Team Leader. This is an exceptional opportunity for a nurse with leadership experience to contribute to the delivery of outstanding care to the communities of Oxfordshire.

About the Role

As a District Nurse Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of nurses in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to patients in their own homes. You will work autonomously, using your skills and experience to problem-solve and make decisions in a variety of clinical situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of nurses in delivering community nursing care
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to the development of the District Nursing service, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to team members
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures

We are looking for a nurse with:

Level 6 studyCurrent NMC registrationFormal management and/or leadership experience within healthcare or extensive clinical experience as a Registered Nurse within a District Nursing team and evidence of leadership responsibilities experienceCommunity nurse experience
