Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced District Nurse Team Leader to join our innovative and dedicated team in Oxfordshire. As a key member of our community nursing service, you will be responsible for leading a team of nurses in delivering high-quality patient care in people's own homes.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a registered nurse with leadership experience to join our team and contribute to the development of our community nursing service. You will be passionate about community nursing and have a proven track record of leading teams to deliver excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of nurses in delivering high-quality patient care in people's own homes
  • Develop and implement effective care plans to meet the needs of patients
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Contribute to the development of our community nursing service and identify opportunities for improvement

Person Specification

We are looking for a registered nurse with leadership experience who has:

  • Level 6 study
  • RGN
  • Current NMC Registration

Desirable qualifications include:

  • DN Specialist Practitioner Qualification
  • Frailty/Leadership Module
  • Level 7 study

We are looking for a nurse with:

  • Formal management and/or leadership experience within healthcare
  • Extensive clinical experience as a Registered Nurse within a District Nursing team and evidence of leadership responsibilities experience
  • Community Nurse Experience

Desirable experience includes:

  • DN Experience

We are looking for a nurse who is:

  • IT literate and uses IT systems
