Job Summary:

NHS Scotland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapy Specialist to join our team at Ayrshire Central Hospital. As a Specialist Physiotherapist, you will play a key role in the assessment, treatment, and management of patients with neurological conditions and traumatic brain injury.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the assessment, treatment, and management of patients with neurological conditions and traumatic brain injury.
  • Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans to promote optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare professionals on neurological rehabilitation and management.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based practice guidelines and protocols.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/MSc/BSc in Physiotherapy.
  • Current Health Professions Council registration.
  • Recognized additional postgraduate qualifications relevant to the post.
  • Practice education and clinical development of others.

Working Hours:

37 hours per week (Job share and part-time hours will be considered).

UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership:

UK Car licence/Car ownership is essential to this role.
