Job Summary:

This role requires a Specialist Physiotherapist to provide a comprehensive specialist service to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and discharge. The successful candidate will work independently and supervise a team of physiotherapists, assistant practitioners, and clinical support workers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a full range of physiotherapy services to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and discharge.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of physiotherapists, assistant practitioners, and clinical support workers.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for healthcare professionals and carers to educate them on physiotherapy practices and patient care.
  • Deputise for the team lead in meetings related to specialist clinical areas.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Specialist Physiotherapist in a clinical setting.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Ability to develop and deliver training programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
