Edinburgh, Edinburgh, United Kingdom NHS Scotland Full time
About the Role

NHS Scotland is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse work environment, promoting equality and eliminating unlawful discrimination. Our goal is to have a workforce that truly represents the community we serve, where each employee feels valued and empowered to excel.

We are dedicated to supporting candidates with disabilities, long-term conditions, or neurodivergent needs by making reasonable adjustments to our recruitment processes.

NHS Scotland is transitioning to a 37-hour working week, with no reduction in pay, to promote work-life balance and improve employee well-being. This change will be implemented pro-rata for part-time staff. However, some service areas may require temporary adjustments to accommodate the new working hours.

This role requires the post holder to have a valid PVG Scheme membership or record. If not already a member, an application will be made to Disclosure Scotland, and the post holder will be deemed satisfactory before commencing in the position.

As a Specialist Physiotherapist, you will utilize high-level decision-making and clinical judgment to diagnose and manage complex patients referred for gait analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct specialized gait assessments and analyze multiple data sets
  • Generate detailed clinical and technical reports with recommendations for Medical Consultants and Specialist AHPs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient health needs are met

This is a part-time position (0.5 wte), and the salary will be pro-rata. For further information on the role and required skills/experience, please refer to the job description and person specification.
