Mental health teaching assistants are sought to join a successful secondary school in Enfield. This role involves supporting pupils across key stages three, four, and five, as well as working with students requiring additional support due to special educational needs (SEN) and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.

The ideal candidate will be a psychology graduate looking to pursue a career in education, therapy, psychological research, or related fields. Salaried teacher training can also be provided to kickstart their career in education.

Key responsibilities include providing support to pupils with SEN and/or SEMH needs, working alongside a supportive and inclusive staff team, facilitating the differentiation of tasks for students, and working with small groups or individual students on specific tasks.

Besides these duties, the selected candidates will have access to high-quality, bespoke continuing professional development (CPD). The salary for this position is estimated at £105 - £110 per day.
