Mental Health Professional

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our dynamic Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) team in Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate professional to make a real difference in the lives of young people and their families.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach to care. Experience in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques is advantageous.
This locum position offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to balance clinical work with administrative demands. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, therapy sessions, and managing safeguarding concerns while maintaining accurate records and managing risks.
About the Role
- Conduct assessments and provide therapy sessions for children and adolescents
- Manage safeguarding concerns and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
- Participate in supervision and professional development to ensure best practice
Requirements
- Current registration with the NMC as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
- Proven experience in working within CAMHS is highly desirable
- Previous band 7 experience
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to care
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Salary Information
£30 per hour, paid bi-weekly through Hunter Gatherer Mental Health.
