About the Role

We are looking for a Support Staff Member to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. This is a dynamic role that will give you the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of our residents.

As a Support Staff Member, your responsibilities will include carrying out a range of tasks across housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, and catering. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, providing quality care and support to our residents, and ensuring their needs are met with compassion and empathy.

Main Duties

Some of your key duties as a Support Staff Member will include:

  • Cleaning and maintaining the living areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal spaces; ">
  • Assisting with laundry and linen management; ">
  • Helping with meal preparation and serving food to residents; ">
  • Maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for residents and staff; ">
  • Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.">

About You

">

To be successful as a Support Staff Member, you should have a caring and compassionate approach, with excellent communication and teamwork skills. You should be reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to changing situations. You will also need to be physically fit, with the ability to lift and move heavy objects if required.
