We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Support Specialist to join our Emotional Health and Resilience Team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality services for children, young people, parents, carers, and families.

Job Responsibilities

The post holder will work under the direction of a Band 6 Caseload Holder, contributing to the provision of high-quality services within the framework of the Healthy Child Programme and Best Start In Life priorities.

Main Duties

The post holder's key responsibilities include:

  • Being proactive in delivering national and public health agendas in response to identified health and social needs;
  • Working in partnership with other agencies to meet agreed standards, objectives, and statutory requirements;
  • Contributing to the provision of high-quality services for children, young people, parents, carers, and families;
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement effective strategies to address health and social needs.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A NVQ level 3 qualification or equivalent relevant to the role;
  • A valid full UK driving license and access to a vehicle;
  • Experience of working with and supporting parents and families;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various audiences, both written and verbally;
  • Ability to handle sensitive data with confidentiality;
  • Recent relevant safeguarding experience.

Salary

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
