Learning Support Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified Learning Support Assistant to join our Apprenticeship Learning Support team at Burton and South Derbyshire College. The successful candidate will provide support to EHCP learners and other supported learners across several Apprenticeship programmes in the development of study skills and promoting independence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide learning support to EHCP learners and other supported learners
* Assist in the development of study skills and promoting independence
* Work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure maximum learner achievement
* Maintain accurate records of learner progress
Requirements:
* Qualified to, or willing to work towards, Level 2 English and Maths
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Commitment to providing high-quality support to learners
