Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Empowering Learning. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with additional needs in a SEND setting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the class teacher and other teaching assistants in the day-to-day running of the class
- Support children during lessons and school activities
- Manage pupils' personalised learning based on their individual needs
- Deliver 1:1 or small group activities
- Collect evidence of children's work to support their assessment

Requirements:

- Experience working with young people
- Highly organised with excellent communication skills
- Desire to work with, inspire and support children
- Interest in supporting young people with a variety of SEND
- Experience supporting children with additional needs (desirable)
