Sailing Programme Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sailing Programme Manager to join our team at the Independent Association of Prep Schools. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for developing and implementing an inclusive sailing programme that nurtures grassroots skills while advancing scholars to higher competitive levels.
The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff and specialist coaches to promote sporting excellence and ensure that pupils of all abilities enjoy, benefit from, and remain engaged in sailing throughout their time at our school and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Implement Sailing Programmes: Design and deliver sailing programmes that cater to diverse skill levels and interests, focusing on grassroot development and advancement to competitive levels.
- Lead Sailing Lessons and Training Sessions: Organise and conduct sailing lessons, training sessions, and regattas, ensuring a safe and engaging experience for participants.
- Maintain Equipment and Facilities: Ensure the safety and maintenance of all equipment and facilities, guaranteeing a high-quality experience for students.
- Mentor and Support Pupils: Identify talent and encourage competitive progression through individualised mentoring and support.
- Provide Meaningful Experiences: Foster a supportive environment where students thrive, enjoying meaningful experiences and development opportunities.
- Proven Experience: Possess extensive experience in sailing instruction and programme management, preferably within an educational setting.
- Engagement and Inspiration: Demonstrate the ability to engage and inspire pupils of various ages and skill levels, promoting a love for sailing.
- Safety and Quality: Commit to safety and high-quality instruction, upholding the highest standards in sailing education.
£40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
