About Academic Administrative Position:
BIMM University is seeking a highly skilled Academic Administrator to join our Academic Services Department in Brighton. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of academic processes and contributing to the overall student experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the Academic Services Department effectively on campus, working closely with the Academic Administration Team Leader.
- Manage all aspects of academic administration at campus-level, including assessment administration and student data management.
- Collaborate with the timetabling team to optimise facility usage and ensure efficient scheduling.
- Implement attendance monitoring processes and provide timely reporting.
- Provide exceptional service to staff and students, providing guidance on academic policies and regulations.
- Contribute to the implementation of campus-level processes related to Academic Services remit, such as Quality Assurance and Enhancement.
- Provide administrative support to committees and boards as needed.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a similar administrative role is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel, is required.
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential.
- Strong attention to detail and written communication skills are required.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and use initiative is preferred.
