Course Administrator - University of Brighton

We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Course Administrator. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our staff and students in a Higher Education setting.

Working closely with the Academic Administration Manager and Senior Course Administrators, you will be responsible for planning, prioritising and managing a range of work activities. This includes handling enquiries, providing information and advice on University-wide services, policies and procedures, and administrative support for course teams.

As a Course Administrator, you will also provide a friendly and efficient reception service for students, staff, visitors, and other external stakeholders, within agreed customer service levels and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering a broad range of customer-focussed enquiry and support services
  • Carrying out a range of organisational and administrative duties
  • Producing written communications clearly and concisely
  • Working proactively to ensure effective service delivery
  • Using Microsoft Office computer programs to a high standard

The role is based in the School of Business and Law on our Moulsecoomb Campus, but there are opportunities for some remote working. This is a full-time permanent position, and we welcome applications from candidates seeking to job share.
