About the Role

A Support Specialist is sought to join a dynamic team in Harrow, supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The ideal candidate will be a recent Psychology Graduate with a strong academic record, experience working with individuals with additional needs, and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities
  • To support students with their EHCP targets, ensuring they make progress and achieve their goals.
  • To assist children with the curriculum, providing individualized support to meet their needs.
  • To provide pastoral care to students, building positive relationships and promoting emotional well-being.
  • To communicate effectively with staff and parents, keeping them informed of student progress and any concerns.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • A degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • A strong academic record at Degree, A-Level, and GCSE level.
  • Experience working with individuals with SEND, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive daily rate of up to £106.00, inclusive of holiday pay, paid weekly in arrears via PAYE. Full training will be provided, as well as opportunities for Continued Professional Development (CPD). This is an initial short-term contract lasting until July 2025, with the possibility of extension if desired.
