About Our Interim Treasury Consultant Role

Sage is seeking a highly skilled Treasury Consultant to join our team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a pivotal role in transforming our banking infrastructure across the UK, Europe, Canada, and the Asia Pacific regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Streamline and enhance processes within our Shared Service Centre and Payroll teams to deliver time and cost savings.
  • Maintain a clear view of banking costs and propose cost-reduction strategies that align with process improvement objectives.
  • Implement physical or notional cash pooling structures to centralise cash within treasury entities for investment or redistribution across the group.
  • Maximise the capabilities of the Treasury Management System (Coupa) to enhance reporting and drive operational efficiencies.
  • Optimise the integration and performance of selected banking providers across the business.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience leading banking consolidation projects, specifically related to migrating collections, disbursements, and payroll functions.
  • Proven track record of providing thought leadership in establishing world-class banking structures for large organisations.
  • Strong technical expertise in banking products, processes, file transmissions, and other technical aspects of banking consolidation.
  • Ability to manage administrative requirements such as KYC, internal governance processes, and bank documentation.
  • Deep understanding of how to implement robust control environments and secure Assurance/Controls buy-in.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, particularly with senior sponsors, the wider finance team, legal & Co-sec, IT, and commercial teams.
