About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Systems Consultant to join our team at Affina Search. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to our clients on treasury management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Industry Expertise: Offer industry and functional advice and troubleshooting in the discovery workshop, design, implementation, testing, and production support of the treasury management system for the client's business needs.
  • Present Solutions: Present the treasury management system solution to client users.
  • Support Deliverables: Support the deliverables of the technical consultants by providing business and functional guidance, review, testing, and validation of scripted solutions (reports, plugins, and interfaces) as directed by the product manager.
  • Consult with Clients: Consult with client users to determine business requirements and work processes to be addressed by one or more areas of the treasury management system.
  • Demonstrate Expertise: Demonstrate deep knowledge in one or more areas of treasury management system configuration and treasury business.
  • Provide Guidance: Provide guidance to business consultants in one or more functional areas of the treasury management system.
  • Assist with Best Practices: Assist with professional services best practices as directed by the line manager.
  • Implement Solutions: Assume hands-on project implementation duties in all phases of the treasury management system implementation, reporting to the project manager.
  • Gather Requirements: Gather and document business requirements, configuration designs, test plans/results, and any other deliverables required by the project as determined by the project manager and lead business consultant.
  • Communicate Status: Keep the line manager and project manager(s) informed regarding the status of assigned responsibilities.
  • Adhere to Standards: Adhere to implementation best practices in one or more functional areas of the treasury management system in all functional design, specifications, custom coding, unit testing, and other deliverables.
  • Follow Documentation Standards: Follow ION documentation standards and resolution process flow for all deliverables.
  • Maintain Chargeability: Maintain full chargeability on client account(s) as assigned.
Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
  • Treasury Experience: Treasury experience with hands-on treasury management system knowledge, preferably with, but not limited to, IT2 or Reval.
  • Cash and Liquidity: Cash management, pooling & sweeping, cash forecasting.
  • Funding and Debt: Short-term debt, long-term debt, trade finance.
  • Investments: MMFs & deposits, capital markets & equities.
  • In-House Banking: Intercompany loans, internal trading, multi-lateral netting.
  • Risk Management: Foreign exchange, interest rates, commodities, counterparty risk, scenario analysis, value at risk.
  • Back Office: Confirmations, payments, regulatory reporting.
  • Accounting: Treasury accounting, hedge accounting.
  • Band Account Management: Account inventory, signatory management, bank fee analysis.
  • Reporting: Reports & workbenches, dashboards & process maps, published data sources, crystal Reports.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in one of the following: Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Economics, or a related IT field or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Ability to work as part of a project team structure.
  • Client Interaction: Ability to work onsite at client locations.
