Altum Consulting is seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Treasury Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to create a standalone treasury function and take the management of treasury to the next level for a global technology business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement treasury strategies, processes, policies, and controls in collaboration with the Group Financial Controller and Chief Financial Officer.
- Manage day-to-day cash on hand and on deposit, ensuring compliance with the Treasury Policy.
- Manage bank mandates to restrict access to bank accounts efficiently.
- Lead the mitigation of foreign exchange risk through natural hedging and financial instruments.
- Improve cash flow forecasting and reporting for tactical and strategic decision making.
- Build and maintain relationships with relevant financial institutions.
- Explore advanced tools to manage risk and return.
- Enhance controls and documentation around payment authorizations.
Key Requirements:
- Relevant finance or treasury qualification, such as ACT, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CTA.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a relevant role.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior experience building relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Experience managing multiple corporate bank accounts.
