We are seeking an experienced Racing Technology Engineer to join our dynamic team at Motorsport-Total GmbH. In this role, you will be responsible for leading or assisting in the execution of Rigs and component testing within our F1 Production & Build function.

The ideal candidate will have recent experience working within a highly technical vehicle technology testing environment in Formula 1 and/or premium automotive racing car series. You will possess excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret engineering specifications and drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. ">
  2. Characterisation and sign-off of brake system components">
  3. Characterisation and sign-off of suspension parts and control systems">
  4. Calibration of component and assembly strain gauges">
  5. Routine service and testing of metallic and composite car components">
  6. Type approval of new and first off components">
  7. Development testing on present and future concepts and materials">
  8. Install/maintain relevant test instrumentation hardware and ensure reliable function">
  9. Monitor, capture, post-process and present test data to engineers, databases and lifing software suites">
  10. Pro-active in initialising preparations of software/hardware files for future tests">
  11. Compile run reports">
  12. Assist with installation of test assemblies and components">
  13. Assist with both on and off-site homologation tests, dynos and rigs">
