Job Overview:
A Racing Technology Engineer position has become available at Motorsport Network, with a competitive salary of £80,000 - £100,000 per annum. This exciting opportunity allows you to contribute to the development of innovative software solutions for motorsport teams.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent problem-solving skills. With 2+ years of commercial experience applying software engineering principles, you will be able to adapt to working with various technologies based on the project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with fellow software engineers and team members from diverse disciplines to ensure that the tools meet their requirements.
  • Support team members from various teams across the engineering department to make the most out of our software and tools.
  • Address technical challenges with appropriate solutions and take on additional roles and responsibilities as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A BSc in Computer Science or relevant engineering degree
* Strong theoretical understanding of fundamental concepts, such as object-oriented programming, design patterns/principles, relational and NoSQL databases, and test-driven development
* High proficiency in at least one common programming language applied in a commercial setting (e.g. C#, Python)
* Some experience with web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
* Familiarity with technologies such as Kubernetes preferred
