About the Job:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be responsible for providing tailored support to pupils with special educational needs in an inspirational SEN School in Alnwick.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with pupils, parents, and teaching staff.
- Assist pupils with their academic and personal needs, ensuring they receive the best possible education.
- Work collaboratively with teachers to identify and implement strategies to support pupil progress.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- An honours degree in Education or a related field is preferred.
- You should have experience working with children in schools in the UK and be able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new situations is essential.
- Hold a valid Right to Work in the UK and an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service.
